An exclusive-use weddings and events venue able to host up to 200 guests

 

The job


As Sous Chef, you will play an integral role in supporting our Head Chef in the day-to-day management of the kitchen, continuing with the high standard of food we prepare and deliver, and working to maintain the excellent reputation the venue has established. There is no restaurant here and you will be catering only the scheduled events. Because of this, you will always know your rota well in advance.

 

What you'll need


Experience as a Sous Chef working in a restaurant, hotel, or venue

A passion for creating great food with an attention to detail

Be calm under pressure and enjoy working in a small team

Good understanding of food hygiene standards and legislation

Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and bank holidays

A full UK driving licence and transport due to the rural location

 

Where you'll be based


The venue is based close to Woodbridge, Suffolk

 

What you'll receive


- £34,000 - £36,000 per annum dependent on experience

- Working 5 days from 7, no split shifts

- Staff discount across group businesses
