Project Costing Administrator

A multi-award winning landscaping contractor with over 25 years experience creating beautiful gardens for the distinctive landscape and architecture of East Anglia.

 

The job


As Project Costing Administrator you'll be responsible for monitoring and recording costings from multiple landscaping and construction projects, ensuring projects are correctly setup in the QuickBooks system. You'll write up and price material and plant costs for each project, set up price adjustment spreadsheets, and raise sales invoices.

Your role will involve close liaison with the Contracts Manager and Quantity Surveyor and attending construction management meetings.

 

What you'll need


Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word, as well as email

Good working knowledge of sales and purchase ledger data entry and reporting

Knowledge of QuickBooks or Xero an advantage

Familiar with CIS

A background in the construction industry or builders merchant beneficial

Thrive in a busy working environment

Exemplary telephone manner

Excellent organisational skills

A Full UK driving licence and own transport

A degree of flexibility to cover annual leave

 

Where you'll be based


The office is based in Dennington, Suffolk, from our yard which is an agricultural type setting.

 

What you'll receive


- £23,000 - £25,000 per annum pro rata dependent on experience

- Employed role (permanent contract)

- Part time hours, 2-3 days per week

- 28 days holiday including bank holidays
