Office Administrator (Maternity Cover)

The company


C.E. Davidson are a long-standing family business engaged in a variety of agricultural activities, including farming, property holdings, and the construction of poultry sites - their primary business activity. The company employs over 50 people from the local area, many of whom have spent their entire career with the company.

 

The job


As Administrator you will work to maintain the smooth running of the office, assisting the Directors and team. You will meet and greet visitors, including making drinks; answering the telephone, take messages, and field cold calls effectively; maintain shared email inboxes; provide admin support to Accounts and Office Managers; manage directors diaries; ordering office supplies; and filing documents alongside other secretarial or administration duties

 

What you'll need


Good knowledge and experience using Microsoft Excel and Word

Strong administrative and organisational skills

Excellent written communication skills

Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills

Attention to detail

Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise

A full UK driving licence due to rural location

 

Where you'll be based


The modern offices are based in a rural location close to Stradbroke, Suffolk.

 

What you'll receive


- £22,000 per annum (maternity cover for 1 year)

- Monday - Friday 9am-5pm with 1 hour lunch (35 hour week)

- Part time considered

- Free onsite parking

- 29 days annual leave including bank holidays
