A plant production nursery and arboretum with one of the largest ranges of commercially available ornamental and native plants in the country and curators of an extensive botanic collection and holders of the Plant Heritage National Santolina Collection. They specialise in large specimen trees and shrubs with a commitment to supplying genuine English grown and English provenance native trees & hedging.
The job
A very rare opportunity to join a business with a fantastic product and market-leading reputation in their field, and take ownership of elevating their digital presence, including overseeing the design and development of a new website.
You'll work closely with the MD to interpret his vision and ideas and run with them, ensuring the business and its story is portrayed effectively to its target audience. This will begin with the designing the website and social media channels, and move to creating branding for the various bolt-on services that are offered, including event hire, landscaping, and more.
Moving forwards, you will be involved in managing the development of a historic barn into a functioning eco-centre, alongside the branding and marketing required to go with it.
What you'll need
Experience as a marketing generalist, including copywriting, digital and social media advertising
Graphic design skills to include designing a website and working with a technical developer on the build
Extensive copywriting experience
A passion for the environment and eco-technologies.
Ability to work autonomously on the running of multiple business-critical projects
Passionate and dynamic with a desire to grow with the business
Willingness to immerse yourself in the brand and be an ambassador for the company

A Full UK driving licence and your own transport.
Where you'll be based
The nursery is based on an old farm in the beautiful Suffolk countryside, a truly idyllic location in Campsea Ashe, just outside Wickham Market.
What you'll receive
- £27,000 - £33,000 per annum dependent on experience
- Employed role (permanent contract)
- Working between Monday and Friday
- Open to a working pattern of 30-40 hours per week to be worked flexibly between 7:30am - 6pm
- 28 days holiday including bank holidays
