Management Accountant & Office Manager

The job


An integral role in this small business, as Management Accountant you will manage the entire accounts function of this c.£10m revenue business, including overseeing and controlling Sage; management of daily cashflow, debtors, and creditors; VAT and CIS returns; running weekly and monthly payroll; and preparation of management and year end accounts. You will be supported by a small team of Accounts Assistants and Administrators in order to achieve this, as well as fulfilling the role of Office Manager, responsible for day-to-day administration, fleet management, insurances etc.

 

What you'll need


Experienced Management Accountant with a background in the construction industry

Familiarity with Sage accounting software

Strong knowledge of CIS reporting and VAT reporting

An ability to manage a small team

Flexible and adaptable to the day-to-day duties as required by the director

A hands-on mentality, willing to muck-in and help colleagues as required

A Full UK driving licence due to the location

 

Where you'll be based


The offices are near Bury St Edmunds, close to the A14.

 

What you'll receive


- £55,000 - £60,000 per annum dependent on experience

- Company car or car allowance
