A newly refurbished town centre restaurant with excellent reputation

 

The job


As Head Chef, you'll work with the owner to develop the food offering at the restaurant with almost full autonomy given within a loose concept. The plan is for the restaurant to open 4-5 days per week and, possibly, without 'typical' service every day, resulting in sensible hours You'll be tasked with building a team, alongside a Restaurant Manager, and will be rewarded with a share of the profits as you spearhead the future success of the business. The restaurant has c.45 covers and an impressive outside space.

 

What you'll need


Experience either as a Head Chef or Sous Chef with an abundance of creativity and ideas for Woodbridge clientele

A hands-on and lead-by-example work style to deliver an exceptional performance and guest experience

A desire to develop the overall business alongside a Restaurant Manager

A commitment to championing fresh local produce

 

Where you'll be based


The restaurant is based in Woodbridge town centre, a short walk from the train station

 

What you'll receive


- £34,000 - £37,000 per annum dependent on experience

- Profit share

- Full menu autonomy within agreed vision

- Opportunity to shape the future direction of the restaurant and push the boundaries of creativity

- Working 4-5 days per week (service times to be agreed)

- 28 days annual leave
