The company


The Lindsey Rose is a traditional, charming country pub and restaurant, serving real ales with a traditional British menu using local, freshly prepared produce. Part of Nedging Hall Estate, a group of local hospitality venues with exciting growth ambitions and environmental and sustainability targets.

 

The job


As Head Chef, you will run the pubs kitchen operations, using produce grown on the estate working closely with the garden team to create menus to reflect seasonal produce. You'll also be passionate about reducing the environmental impact of your kitchen and work towards meeting the groups carbon zero target.

 

What you'll need


Passion. In abundance. We value attitude over experience.

Experience working as a Head Chef, or Senior Sous Chef, cooking high quality British food

Commitment to using home grown and local produce

Environmentally conscious

Inspirational leadership skills, leading by example

 

Where you'll be based


The Lindsey Rose is located in Lindsey Tye in South Suffolk.

 

What you'll receive


- £26,000 - £32,000 per annum dependent on experience

- Option of exclusive onsite accommodation
