Award-winning building contractor, specialising in the restoration and conservation of churches and notable buildings throughout East Anglia.

 

The job


You will work closely with the Office & Accounts Manager to perform accountancy and bookkeeping tasks as your primary role, as well as fleet management, general office management, and much more. As a business who's staff stay with them for a long time, we are looking for someone to grow into this new role and become part of our small but efficient operation.

 

What you'll need


Extensive accounts administration experience in the construction industry

Familiarity with Sage accounting software

Experience with CIS reporting and reverse VAT

A self-starter, able to prioritise your own workload

A hands-on mentality, willing to muck-in and help colleagues as required

A Full UK driving licence

 

Where you'll be based


The office is in Higham, Suffolk, close to the A14.

 

What you'll receive


- £25,000 - £30,000 per annum dependent on experience

- Employed role (permanent contract)

- Monday to Friday working week, 9am-4pm working hours

- 28 days annual leave (including bank holidays)
