A complex of 8 purpose-built, Suffolk-Barn style lodges, comprising 30 bedrooms in total. Each of the lodges has recently been lovingly refurbished to a very high standard, with bespoke kitchens, huge bathrooms, and beautifully furnished living areas. The lodges also offer a gym, sauna and club/cinema room.
A truly unique and exciting opportunity to take full responsibility for the day-to-day running and overall management of the complex, it's presentation, guests, and staff.
As the face of the business, you will responsible for all guest interaction; greeting arrivals and overseeing departures; responding to guest requests and offering a 'concierge' style service by providing recommendations on attractions, eateries, and days out etc; ensuring the lodges are presented and maintained beautifully. You will oversee a team of housekeepers, gardener, and handyman to help you achieve this.
Administratively, your duties will include the management of the online booking system, online payment system, collation of financial information for the bookkeeper, maintaining inventories, stock control, maintaining the website, and monitoring of social media channels including assisting with content creation.
The most exciting aspect of this role is the autonomy to grow the business and be part of its future success by exploring all avenues of increasing revenue, whether by improving occupancy, collaborating with local businesses, introducing new services, or marketing efforts to the target audience.
What you'll need
Extensive experience in luxury hospitality or tourism, with a keen eye for detail, quality, and presentation
Experience of online booking systems and reservations
A welcoming host, who is reliable, honest, and conscientious
An entrepreneurial spirit, able to build commercial relationships and collaborations to increase revenue
Knowledge of digital marketing
Willingness to undertake a DBS
Excellent references from previous employers

The complex is based in the rural Suffolk village of Heveningham.
What you'll receive
- £30,000 - £38,000 per annum dependent on experience
- Newly refurbished beautiful on-site accommodation in the form of a two double bedroom house

- Full time employment for c.40 hours per week, worked flexibly across seven days
- Support of an Assistant Manager to cover time off
