An independent and reputable firm of Chartered Surveyors and Planning and Design Consultants providing rural property services across Suffolk, including planning consultancy, architectural services, project management, and property sales. You will be assisting in the design and drawing for a variety of different building types, mainly in the rural environment, for planning, building regulations applications and construction sets.
The core work would initially be building regulations and construction packages with a view to developing project information sets and moving towards contract administration on site. The role would include site surveys/measuring buildings and liaising with clients and contractors. Site visits can often be farm-based so bring your boots!
What you'll need
Experience with AutoCAD to produce technical drawings is essential.
Sound knowledge of building regulations and construction materials an advantage.
Keen interest in rural/agricultural property
Willingness to conduct site visits in an agricultural environment
A full UK driving licence and own transport.
Where you'll be based
Offices are based in the centre of Bury St Edmunds, with onsite parking available.
What you'll receive
- £25,000-£30,000 per annum dependent on experience
- Employed role (permanent contract)
- Monday-Friday flexible working between 8:30am and 6pm
