The job

Michelin starred dining extravaganzas, private dining experiences, fire pit cooking, and more.

Our chefs are regularly involved with all of the above, cooking alongside master chefs such as Marco-Pierre White, Michael Roux, Angela Hartnett, Jose Pizarro and more, and providing in-accommodation private dining and fire pit cooking to our discerning guests and household name brands in fabulously appointed properties.

As Executive Chef you lead and inspire your brigade within our state-of-the-art estate kitchen, a commercial kitchen unlike anything else you'll find in Suffolk. You'll be responsible for consistently excellent food that exceeds expectations for our guests for corporate events, weddings, and the spectacular YOXMAN.

You'll use your commercial nous to implement and manage effective cost controls, maintaining profitability without compromising quality. You'll manage economic and legislative aspects of the catering business, demonstrating a solid understanding of constraints and solutions, working closely with dedicated F&B and events teams

What you'll need

Proven experience in a senior kitchen role, with expertise in delivering exceptional food experiences.
Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to take your team on a journey
Strong commercial acumen and a solid grasp of culinary economics, legislation, and operational dynamics.
Meticulous attention to detail across all aspects of service and presentation.
Full UK driving licence due to location

Where you'll be based

Wilderness Reserve estate kitchen is based at Halesworth Golf Club. We are confident we have the nicest commercial kitchen in East Anglia!

What you'll receive

£65,000 - £70,000 per annum dependent on experience
Typically a 4 day working week but with the flexibility to work a 5 day week dependent on the needs of the business
28 days annual leave including bank holidays
